I just bought a Cam gear for my sohc i knew that you have to buy a woodruff key from the dealer so i called them and ask for a set of key for an h22 motor i went and got them today but they don't seem to fit on the cam gear there a littel to wide to slide in they gave honda part number 90741-657-000

is this the right key to use ?

do i have to dirve the gear in the cam with the bolt ?

 

why did you buy one for the h22 instead of your motor?

or is that what it calls for?

well i talked to skunk2 and they told me that this is the key to get i also told him about the fitment

 

My key for the cam gear was also too wide or tall, i forgot which it was, but i grabbed a file and a caliper, all good now.

 

use the strock one for your motor, is your motor a h22?

 

the stock one is built in to the stock cam gear i have a sohc

 

Measure gap, and go buy some key stock
