3rd gear grind at higher speeds???

3rd gear grind at higher speeds???
When i'm at higher speeds road racing, and i down shift to 3rd. my gear grinds.
I just wanted to know if there was anyone else who had this problem, or if there was anyone who knows what it might be?

Your tranny does that because 3rd gear is going out.
It could go any day. I know this because I was doing 120mph in 5th
and started to down shift to slow down the car with out ride the brakes
and when i got to 3rd gear there was no clutch pedal. I stacked the clutch
I put a new one in and 3rd gear was gone. So now I have no 3rd gear.
