ok first off i have a 91 crx si with a b16a motor swap. when i got the car it ran fine and great then problems starting coming... my car wouldnt go above 3.5 rpms and was pulling code four (cas) and after some work i finally got that fixed and now i pull 22 which is vtec pressure valve if anyone can give me some info on that? but also my car will only go to 5.5-6 rpm and then when at that level of rpm's my car wont go any further and i throw black smoke. my CEL doesnt come on soon as i start up but after a few seconds and leveling out idle it does. i have a stock PW0 ecu because my other one got stolen and i switched my old dizzy out when i tried to fix the code 4. also sometimes my car will like miss while taking off or just driving ( sudden shake and rapid lunges) ALOT of problems i know and just kinda thrown together but i need some help and i know this would be the best place to ask! so ANY HELP WILL HELP!! PLEASE ive searched all over and cant find anything!!

Holy screen door. You don't know how to use the bold tags, you've made an incredibly hard to read and long post. Break it up a little, use the enter key.

In any case, the black smoke sounds like you're burning a lot of oil, I'd think your rings may be an issue.

Make sure your timing is good, but I'd be wondering about the bottom end at that point.

 

ya sorry its kinda hard to read but i just threw it out there.. but anyways ya im just trying to get as much info on it as i can then go from there. but ya i was thinkin either burnin too much fuel or oil for smoke.. anyone else ideas?!?!

 

also when i shift into a gear my car usually like sputters and misses like lunges for a sec i kinda already said that but... just figured id throw it out there. anyone ideas? for the whole issue really try and fix the CEL 6 rpm that stuff then work into the smaller things

 

If the smoke is black, you are running way too rich.....oil smoke is white/blueish

 

anyone else? on the problems of the other things?

my car battery died... idk how... but then i got jumped and my horn wouldnt work and also my gauges and lights didnt work but my car did go higher in rpm's i could tell and my CEL would bounce off and on kinda. so



i got some major problems i know but just trying to find some help

searched all over for help

so if anyone can help PLEASE POST!!!
