Cons of Grinding a crank..
why would you want to do that? there are alot of cons in grinding down a crank unless you're going to take it to a machine shop that can balance a crank.
not recommended.
if you're doing this to reduce weight, go a different route or get a lighter crank

Well i took my block to be honed and bored, and told them to look over the crank, well when i picked it up today they told me they ground the crank 10/10, I know i have to run oversized bearings, but i was just wondering if it would run any different...?
i would never touch a honda crank other then to get it polished and balanced...if its fucked its fucked buy a new one or score a used one thats healthy...
yeah my philosphy with honda cranks is, if you cant micropolish it and use it, lose it! the nitrided coating from honda is a great hardening process, that combined with forged metallurgy is why our cranks from honda rock
