hey im trying to replace my stock bulbs with hids, but when i unplugged the wires from the stock bulbs, the bulbs wont pop out. i think im supposed to twist it and pull, but it doesnt twist. am i doing it right?

 

dont twist the bulb, twist the round plastic thing on the actual headlight, it turns about 90 degrees then you can remove the bulb.

btw get those aimed properly so you arent blinding other drivers..... (cough) me

twist that right? i did, but it barely moves. its been there for a while, do i need to grease it or something?

 

no not that! there is a big black plastic tab that should be turned. the bulb then just pulls straight out

Yeah exactly,,it's going to be hard to turn if its never been out before,,you just have to play with it,,and make sure you're just turning the black plastic thing and not the light socket,,then when its loose,you turn the light socket untill the tabs from the socket line up with the holes on the black plastic thing and it will come out,,I'll try and take a pic or video for you since i have some laying around.

Ok, now, who's gonna make this guy a video on how to wipe his ***? I mean, I would think that if you need help with a headlight bulb, you would most likely need someone to wipe your ***. I mean, it's not even a remotely close to hard bulb to remove. There are many, many worse. I just feel sorry for his clothing drawers.

i work on a lot of hondas from around my neighborhood. last week the local ricer stopped and ask me to do the same thing.... flipped me $10 to install some new headlight bulbs. hehehe
