Default is there a DIY for valve cover?

anyone kno who how to take off your valve on these new 01-05 civics? the other day i was about to until i saw all the wires on the valve

its very easy. nt many wires. its just your coil packs, if your any good at working on anything. look at it for like 5 mins and you will be able to do it. btw coil packs unplug then pull out. don't just pull out. you might snap one. seen it happen. funny ****

1. take off plastic cover off valve cover
2. take out and unplug coil packs, and take out bolts holding wires down
3. using pliers pull back clamps on breather hose and pull off breather hose
4. remove the 5 (10 mm ) bolts off valve cover
5. if u can not pull off just tap lightly with soft hammer or hammer covered by rag and then u should be able to pull it right off
putting it on is just taking it off just backward

depends on the millage of the car to be safe yes they are not that much and i would be better safe then sorry if the car has low miles and the gasket looks good then you should be ok

yea, i re used mine, was still in good shape when i did my timing belt, i have an extra one, but its reusable as long as it doesnt leak
