1991 Civic - Engine Smells Hot, Fluids All Normal
I've got a 1991 Civic LX that smells "hot" after driving it for 15 or 20 minutes. The smell appears to be coming from the engine compartment but I can't figure out from where. The instrument panel temperature gauge reads normal and I've checked the coolant level and the oil level. Both levels are normal, so it doesn't appear to be loosing coolant or burning oil. Not long ago, I had all the belts and radiator hoses replaced, thinking that might solve the problem. It did not.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing the odor?
Thanks,
