Default vtec

i have a b16a. how many times can i hit vtec in a day without starting to wear and hurt the engine. i always let it warm up. sorry for such a dumb question but its my first vtec car and i don't want to hurt it.

Why would Honda design something on their engines, which they pride themselves in mind you, that would wreck them after being used for a few times.

If you thrash the **** out of your engine, it will die. If you keep maintenance up it will usually last you for as long as you want it to.

In short, i think you could hit 5.76 V-tech's per day without doing any harm.

Don't worry about it. The prices of these engines now adays (or rebuilding one) is alot cheaper then it was, beat her up. If she dies, replace it.
