I doubt. Stock injectors require a 12:1 disk. 10 psi with stock injectors will result in the FMU adding (12 x 10 psi) = 120 psi to your static pressure (usually about 40 psi). Total = 160 psi. Noooo way.

310's are about 25% larger than stock. An 8:1 is a little small, so you'd probably need a 10:1 disk. That would be (10 x 10 psi) = 100 psi plus your static pressure (40 psi). Total = 140 psi. Definitely still too much.

If you get 370cc injectors, you can run an 8:1 disk and your max fuel pressure will be about 120 psi.

I wouldn't boost more than 6 psi if you're gonna use 310cc injectors.

a little bitter are we?

edit: does anyone have any good links on how the injectors, regulator, and pump all work together? I hear all these fuel/air numbers and I just get confused. And what are normal PSI numbers in each section for a honda engine?

Which Walbro pump do you have? The GSS317 or the GSS342? They are both "255 lph" pumps. The GSS317 is sold as a "255 lph" pump and the GSS342 is sold as a "255 lph HO" (high output) pump.

Yes at 10 PSI 310cc can. Stock Injectors have supported 10 PSI over and over without a problem. Taking it much higher than that without proper tuning is not a good idea though.

I ran my LS turbo with 310s and an 8:1 FMU with a Bosch inline fuel pump for over a year on 10 psi.

Oh yeah, stock injectors (240ccs) CAN hold up to 12 lbs. But you know, you'll start smelling fuel/fuel leaks.

I too, ran 10psi with 310's, an 8:1 disk, and bosch pump for a year with no problems. However, recently I cracked a ring land ...but that was not fuel related.

i have a technical question here about the stock injectors+12:1 fmu VS. 310cc injectors+8:1

how do you figure out will be the better combo? which runs richer than the other? theres always this debate about which rate to use with the 310s. 8:1 OR 10:1. i would opt for the 8:1 fmu rate... but how do we calculate the benefit of using one or the other in terms of scientific calculations. did that make sense? hehe

stock ecu timing advance and too much aggressive driving within an hour. I was running rich the whole time with 310's and an 8:1 disk.

I've been running 310cc on my B18B turbo for the past month now. My timing is set at 15btdc, i'm using an 8:1 disk with and airtex pump. fuel pressure at 9 psi is approx. 107 psi. with this set up I'm getting more fuel than stock with 12:1 FMU. EGT's are 1350 and when i boost, they drop to 1200-1250. It's rich but safe. I get 35 mpg with my 310cc at highway speed (75mph).

with 310 cc (8:1) fuel pressure is approx. 115 psi on B18B (at 10psi). At that fuel pressure, 310's will flow 507cc and 240's will flow 457cc but with 155psi fuel pressure (at 10psi). the airtex pump max is at 125psi.

based on cal. the 310's flow more and it's within the limit of the fuel pump. My current setup is 9 psi high boost. Fuel pressure is 105 psi and my injector flow is approx. 490 cc (by calculations).

normal driving i'm at 7 psi, and fuel pressure is approx. 90psi. much better than my old set up (120psi with 240's at 7psi)

I run daily 10.5psi and 11.5psi in the track with a JRSC and RC 310 cc/min. The car run fine. My fuel pressure in the fuel railk is 85psi at wot.

I'm making a change to RC 440cc/min to add N2O to the car (to cool the JRSC).
