Hey, before i start buying everything, i would like to know if it is going to be ok for me to swap a d16y8 into my Hx, so i know that i wont have to change the harness, but i will need to get a conversion harness to obd1 and a chipped p28 because i plan on turboing it, is that all i have to worry about, because I am one of those people who wants to make sure before i do something, my plan is as of right now is to rebuild the y8 i have in my garage and drive my car with the y5 for now, and when the time comes to change out the engine i will have to change it to obd1 ecu becuase i plan on boosting it, so all i need is the conversion harness and the chipped p28 right, thanks and sorry for the newbish but i am new to this and i want to get all my facts right before i start the build.

 

Before you start any work dude, read the sticky'd threads at the top... "swaps for my civic" it will help explain more of what you'd be looking for and what ur gonna need for the swap... you just threw a bland question out an wanted precise answers but your gonna have to elaborate a little more on what you want done first, this is a step by step process that shouldnt be rushed...
