you have to lift up on the seat some to get to the clips. there should be 2 clips under each seat.

Yep. The bottom parts of the seat (I guess if you were sitting in it facing the front, it would be where the back of your knees are) lift up on the seat there, you'll see the two clips on each side of the seat.
Pull the tabs and you'll hear them click, pull the seat out.

EDIT: Ah, why did I even say "sitting facing the front" and "in the backseat" of a 4th gen Prelude?

I didn't bother reading what other people posted, but you should have two clips under each seat, if they are hard to pull, or won't budge, sit on the seat and pull the clip at the same time, it should come loose, as stupid as that sounds but it helped me pull the clip loose on both my Preludes. Once those two clips are loose just pull the seat in an out/up direction, it should come out. Once that is out, for the backrest, the driver's side should have two 10mm bolts holding it in place, take them off slide the seat up, the passenger side, has one 10mm bolt like the other side, then has a bigger metal piece, it's pretty much common sense how to take it off after that, then you fold the seat down, open the little latch/cover on the back off the seat towards the rear panel (left) take the bolt off, it should be free.

I've posted the Manual Pages before, but I was unable to find the thread...
So I had to wait until I got home to get the links..

There are two little semi-circle things
Think of it like an oval, with a square going through it. Pull the tabs straight towards you.
Row 1 is the clip, note the actual tab you pull is in the center.
Rows 2 and 3 show the direction to pull.
Nevermind the vertical lines in row 2, and the underscores in row 3. Maybe a simple visual will help.
If you haven't yet, make sure you pull that edge of the seat up pretty hard, until you can see the carpet going underneath the seat. Then you should be able to see the two tabs you need to pull.

1st row: (|_|)
2nd row|||||
3rd row: _\/_

Eh, I was thinking more like the 3rd passenger has to lay across the back seat, versus sitting normally. haha

yeah you lift up on the front of the seat and find the clip. grasp the clip. as you pull on the clip push down with hand above the clip, it will come right off. to get off the back rest, there are like two 10mm bolts holding them on. the folding seat is a little harder.
