i took my car to the honda dealership to have it serviced, i wanted them to check this "issue". after my car is warmed up, if iturn it off and turn it back on without giving it gas the rpm's drop so low it almost sounds as if the car is about to stall, then it recovers, same thing happenes if i push in the clutch or if its in neutral and i just rev the engine and let off it drops, its almost as if the car doesn' know how much gas to feed for it to idle, *the honda technician said it's perfectly normal "a performance engine", doesn't hurt the car any for this to happen, perfectly normal. Does this technician know what hes talking about or what?

That's normal. The S2000 has no low end. Adjust driving habits.
It could also be clutch chatter from a warped clutch. Prior owner never adjusted driving habits.
It's a free fix. Move clutch leg slower. Move gas foot more.
See if that fixes it.
