So I currently have a b16a sir. I often hear how great the itr engine is but Ive never seen one so I really dont know. so my question is would it be worth me selling my engine now for say 2000 and spending like 4500 for an itr engine?? Im kinda new to the racing world so any info would be great. thanks allllll...

I'd personally go with a D15B7.

... Yes, the Type-R engine is worth the money. Unless you plan on doing extensive internal work, in which case, I'd say just build a hybrid B-Series for cheaper.

I think the answer lies in the depth of your wallet. Have the extra money to blow? If you do... you cant go wrong.

yeah I dont have a lot of money. Im only 19 and i got lucky in finding my type r. A buddy told me about it and i decided to check it out. I wanted a itr engine but I didnt have the money so i went with a sir engine. to be honest with everyone i didnt know much about honda's untill i got the r. I guess Im one lucky fricker. I paid 1000 for the r but all thats missing was the engine and seats and suspension so i feel hella lucky. So with that said any info cant hurt me non.
