car cranks but doesnt fire up
not sure what happened, came home last night, tried to start today, just keeps cranking but doesnt fire up.
checked a couple things so far, but throw me some suggestions
checked plugs, checked ground, check dist. cap, checked main relay, resoldered it.
so far i tested to see if fuel leaks out when i turn the ignition twice, timing belt is still on, i did notice fuel doesnt leak out, so im thinking it could be the fuel pump that went out

You should be able to hear your fuel pump go on for a couple seconds right after you turn you key on before you crank it. Loosen the banjo bolt on your fuel rail to see if you are getting presure. You need fuel air compression and spark to run an engine. If you can figure out which one you are missing you are halfway home.
normally when u turn the ignition on before starting you'll hear your fuel pump activite, if it does'nt then i would think it took a carp on u.. hope that helps
yeah im praying its not the fuel pump and something more simple like me not soldering the main relay correctly, i dont hear the fuel pump activate thats the problem. btw im on a walbro 255lph fuel pump
Sounds to me like it might be your ignitor or coil, in the distributor. I had the exact same problem a while ago, and they are quite a common thing to go on Ludes.

both my hondas needed a new distributor, if your cranking all day long, smell unburned fuel, its a great chance is the dizzy. I put a honda dizzy in the lude, and distributor king dizzy in the accord, both are still going strong no problems. A piece of advice - i learned the hard way, if you install the dizzy to the block and it doesnt go in all the way, take it out and turn the shaft 180 degrees
