oil color
The engine probably just has deposits in it, but dark oil doesn't necessarily mean "dirty" oil. If you're really concerned, send a sample out for a used oil analysis, and see what the report says.

Oil goes in yellow, comes out black. Its just how motor oil works, your fine.
If your finding specks of metal flakes, chunks and other sorts of things that arent related to motor oil, then you would have a problem to worry about.
All motors, in one form or another, have carbon buildup to some extent.

I haven't owned any automobile for more then 2 weeks without putting some sort of aftermarket magnetic drain plug in it. Not so much for insurance/protection, more over for my piece of mind. But dirty oil isn't an issue, if it starts to smell like coolant or gasoline or any of the above things are found after you drain it, then your in trouble.

its one of those engine flush where you get from shucks or some auto parts store. and you pour it in your motor and let run for fifteen minutes i think. then let engine cool and drain replace oil filter and refill with new oil.

do u have a desiel?
if your "that" concerned about it, drain a quart from the pan, put in a quart of atf in the fill. run for 2-5 minutes. do a complete oil change. this will clean deposits (old oil build up from lack of oil changes from block/head).
