Default f20b sir and sir-t

hey guys. I have read that the f20b has 2 versions the sir 180hp which is the automatic engine and the sir-t 200hp which is the manual tran engine. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct info and where can I get maybe solid factory info. If this is correct what exactly makes the difference in power- is it in the block, the head, maybe different cams, intake manifold. Thanks

Pistons should be the same, same compression ratio

throttle body size and mani fold is smaller on the SIR auto model, also the cams are gear'd for more mid range power i think, while the 5spd is for more top end. both of these motors lack torque though, but they respond well to bolt ons, a bigger throttle body and intake manifold work wonders

thanks. this gives me a better idea of what i have to do now. i already have a full exhaust by greedy from header to muffler with free flow so i will look into a skunk manifold, t-body and some skunk cams. is the street stage 1s or 2s more aggressive than the type s cams of the sir-t head.
