red and black battery cable question ha. help me!
alright so ive just swapped my h22a into my 92 lude and almost everyting is done and i cant seem to remember where the red and black battery cables go? i got the one on the starter but the other part idk where it goes?
Red goes to +, Black goes to --
Don't really understand your question ............
Depends on how you place the battery in your engine compartment, normal way of battery placement would result in the positive terminal on top and negative terminal on the bottom ( looking at your engine after opening your hood ). Connect cables accordingly, don't forget the grounds, to the starter and the body.

yea its what is sounds like. but yea where do they originate from? answers? if u had new cables to put in where would they go basically?
It sounds like you have two wires not connected to anything. I really cant help you out with that. Switch them around a few times to see where they dont smoke at. Good Luck, Im doing my swap next week.

yeah the cables them self. the cable that goes to the starter etc. i think i had them on wrong. could i have melted a wire cause it was smokin inside my car and in my engine bay...
Well if its smoking inside your car and outside you probally have more than 1 miswire. Good luck, its too dark right now to get some pics, so Ill post them 1st thing in the morning for u.
Okay so I looked for you. The negative cable runs from the battery to ground on the transimission. Located right under the starter.
The red cord goes two directions, one to the starter, and the other to the fuse box.
