Default Hit a a bump and started leaking coolant. Help Please

I hit a very steep dip at the bottom of an incline going about 5 mph and I noticed that my radiator started to leak coolant but I can't seem to spot where it is leaking from or why. It seems to be coming from the upper hose but I'm not sure. Anyone have the same experience?

Jack the car up and remove the splash sheild in front and look around. Run the engine so pressure builds up, and take a look at where its leaking. All coolant leaks are differant.

Different leaks? so it comes from more than one spot?

Well if you run out of coolant it will not leak anymore...

LOL. Cars do not fix themselves.

Meaning that coolant can leak from any spot on your rad. You need to look for it.

you can put a non-abrasive UV dye in your coolant, let it circulate, then jack the car up and hit it with a black light to follow where the leak is coming from check you local parts storez

I believe you, it leaked immediately after i hit my radiator, then stopped leaking for about 2 weeks, then started leaking again. Just wait, it'll start leaking again when you least expect it. You've been warned.

hold up, u said u noticed the radiator leaking? or did u just coolant around? if u hit a dip like u said and bottom out the only part that should have cracked was radiator or maybe lower radiator hose? but if its cracked u should obviously see it from the bottom if u take the shield off. trace the coolant and ssee which side the coolant is dripping from?

the reason ppl say that it can't fix itself is because u stated that it started leaking after u hit a bump. but now you're saying that the you filled the overflowed and might have spilled some? and u say it seems like its coming from the upper hose? if u bottom out that should have nothing to do with the upper hose...

coolant that looked like it sparyed on the top? see that can happen when a car is moving, it can blow all over the place

I already bought a new radiator, the old one had a crack that I couldn't locate. Thanks for the help.
