I want to lower my car.
My 2000 civic is not low enough for me, it has a gap of 2 fingers. I want a gap of at least 1 finger.
Should i buy the ground control coilovers with ???? shocks?
I have some Tein s-tech with stock shocks. Do they sell shocks that u can lower?

You could use Koni shocks, but the front spring perch on the lower setting would put your car on the ground, like major tire tucking, but the rear spring perch won't lower that much.
GC's on Koni shocks is my vote.

To do what you need, you'll have to have a coilover setup. Not any coilover setup will do though, as it has to be purchased for the intended application.
The GC / Koni combo can handle it with higher springrates to keep the car from bottoming out. The higher springrates will also keep the car more compliant with less body motion at the extreme end of the shocks capabilities.
I have the setup you're looking for on my daily / track car, and I have to say, if you do it wrong it's going to suck and not be exactly safe. Do it right with high springrates and quality shocks to handle them, and the car will be something that you'll loathe driving anywhere but the track.

just be sure to do it right the first time. i would go with a full coilover system to be honest. it makes everything easier. like the tein basics. they are like 750-95o i think and you will get what you want out of them.

word. i have 500F and 550R and can go lower than i am right now without bottoming out, before i had 400/375 and i would occasionally bottom out. But the 400/375 is definately more comfy than 500/550, and i like the way my spss3 valved konis take the rates; at 500/550 feels like a full sized truck I think I could go higher but that'd be killing myself and kidneys.
