ive got this new turbo. its only been on the car for 25 pulls for dyno tuning. my problem is that it doesnt hit full spool till 5000 rpm, i have a d16y8 and this is unacceptable. so id like to sell this for what i can get or trade for a faster spooling turbo. 350 is my goal so if we trade the turbo must be capable of that. thank you very much. can take pics

what kinda setup do you have? cuz i have D16 also and im going for 400 with a 57 trim with .63 hot side. "cams intakemani cam gear manifold"

 

ive got a built d16y8 i made 264 hp on 19lbs of boost. from what i was told that turbo is made for huge horespower but at higher boost so i was not about to break the 20 psi mark.

 

to be specific its a built d16y8, 650 rc injectors, 2.5inch ic piping, 2.5 inch downpipe, 2.5 inch exhaust, 255 walbro, tuned on chrome. i think i got screwed somewhere

 

do you have a intake manifold or and cam with a ajustable cam gear? head work?

Seems to me you should have cleared 300whp on 19psi. Could be different solutions to your issue, either T3 with lower a/r like .48, or maybe try a GT28 series. Ball bearing will help you spool quicker as will the smaller housing. Not cheap though!
