Hey all, i havent been driving my car (95 gsr) lately, but i want/need to start. My flexpipe is kind of busted, and the person before me welded in a test pipe into the exhaust. I live in the state of MD so i need to pass the treadmill test. Would alcohol in the gas make my cell go away and possibly pass me, or if i replace my test pipe with the cat will i pass even with the exhaust leak at the flex pipe? Thanks.

Would you happen to know if i will still fail emissions w/ a leaking flex pipe? I do understand that replacing the two things that i know are broken would get me on the road, but think broke, like ramen broke. lol. thanks.

 

i would just get a hwole new exhaust....you may pass emissions, at least here in wisconsin pre-obd2 vehicles can pass even with an engine light on

give it a shot...we get like 3 attempts out here before you have to pay to re-test
