Default non-vtec to vtec

I found a 92 acura with a b18a1 for a reasonable price and was wondering if it would be worth it to swap the cylinder head from my JDM b16a and have a vtec b18?

Yep. Parts should not be too much. Golden Eagle make a convert kit. You will also need some type of engine management, Skunk chip/ Apexi VAFC/ Hondata/ etc. Not too hard. Good luck
