Help LX idles at 1500 rpm?

Help LX idles at 1500 rpm?
I have no idea why it adles at 1500 rpm, but here is what it does...
1. When I turn it on it goes to 1500 to 1000 then back to 1500 rpm and stays like that.
Anyone that can help would be great btw its a 1993 civic LX.

Sounds like you got a vacuum leak. I'd clean the IACV and FITV, if the problem's still persisting you have a vacuum leak.
Change the IACV and FITV gaskets when you clean them, and I'd also change the throttle body gasket while you have the throttle body off.

PS: Did this just start outta the blue? Did you just swap the motor in or something and it's been doing it since, or what?
