AXLES!! Argh! Doesn't fit...
I was up til 3am trying to get the passenger side axle in. It just doesn't want to seem to go in! I have like an inch left! WHATS THE PROBLEM?!
BTW, it's a 4G H22. And I don't think I need my shoulder workouts for at least a few weeks...

take it out.. try to set the C ring thing centered on the axle.. squash it down a lil if you have to.. then push it in.. wiggle wiggle.. and push sum more.. easy stuff
Yea, I'm thinking it was that little ring at the end too. What's the purpose of it? I didn't want to take it out, but can I crimp it smaller? And would it affect anything?
The ring is there to hold the axle in place once it's seated. I had to get a little rough to get mine back in and I was worried the car was going to fall off the jack stands! I eventually put a little fresh grease over the end to help it slip in (heh) and holding the shaft at the inner joint I shoved it in with all my body weight (heh again
). It took a little persuasion!

yep these guys are right, it might take a little elbow grease but you should be able to get it in. make sure your new axle is the SAME as your old one, put them side by side and check them out...
