...not easy to fix...
..but not as hard as reading this thread.
Rod knock means you have to disassemble the entire motor, machine or replace lots of stuff and then put it back together CORRECTLY. enjoy.

If you want it brand new, yeah, lots of money, machine work, all new bearings, gaskets blah blah. But, I've done plenty of "in car rebuilds", its a nice inexpensive way to squeez more miles out of an old turd engine. pull the head off, get the car on jack stands, pull off your B pipe and oil pan, get the oil pick up off, ratchet off your rod caps one at a time and push the piston/rod out the top. Keep them all in order, number them 1-4, pick up a set of standard size bearings from the parts house (if your **** then get the honda book out and learn how to decipher the codes on your crank counter weights and individual rod to get the correct "honda" bearing size for each rod). While the pistons are out do a quick hone of the cylinder walls, and put some new rings on the pistons. drop the pistons back in with a ring compressor, tighten the rod bolts to spec, and put everything back together. Thats the gist of it anyways...
New main bearings require removal of the engine, but usually these are still good even when a rod starts to knock. This whole process takes about 6 hours with a friend now that I've done it a few times...
