this is what happened. my brother crashed my civic (2000ex) and the front of the body took the damage, and the radiator and all that in the front. so we fixed everything looks like new. but now the car doesnt start. put the clutch in, turn the key, and nothing happens. no sounds, no nothing. we have turned the car on before by push starting and by running a wire from the starter to the battery to crank the engine. after it cranks we turn the key and wallah, the car turns on...people online have said it could be the clutch switch, ignition switch, a blown fuse, messed up wiring, starter relay, or the wiring to any of those things. My starter is new, so i know that isnt the problem. I havent had time to actually check up on these things, so I was wondering if someone can help me out here before i do something i'm not suppose to.

by the way, im not a huge mechanic...i just want to get to know more about how to fix my own car. (the engine in it is the stock d16)

could be a bad ground, or starter, or fuse, start checking.. get your starter tested at autozone of something
