Replacing Alternator / 1995 LS
Does anyone know how to replace an alternator?
How many bolts are there to remove?
Do I have to take out the axle?
If you have any pictures that go along with instructions that would be great too

you don't have to take out the axle.
You can get it out from the bottom if you take out the frame brace bar (not sure if thats the official term for it)
I think it's 2 bolts. One of them is used to set the tension on the belt.

If you jack it up, remove the driver's side wheel, and remove the big plastic under-tray, you can access the lower bolt (that the alternator pivots on). Then, from up top, remove the bolt that is used to adjust the tension and you should be able to remove it out of the bottom.
hey guys, im new here but have a similar problem. i have a 1987 integra ls. my alternator went out and i want to replace it. how do i go about doing that? is it the same steps as the 1995 ls?
