b sereis vibration mounts questions
just wondering if any of you or is it a good idea to remove the left and right vibration mounts from my engine. the ones that is located in the bottom front of the engine. i have a 96 integra ls and i already removed my A/C. i kinda want to remove the A/C mount/vibration mount and as well as the right side vibration mount. is this a bad idea? has anybody ever done this before? just want to loose some more weight in the front. pls help! thanks!
My buddy removed his in is gsr, it just gets a bit more engine movement during hard shifting but if you got stiffer motor mounts, it will probably compensate and stiffen up the shifting.

You're not gaining anything except more wear on the other mounts. Don't do it. Not that it has an incredible amount of power or torque, but you'd destroy those other mounts in teh process if you did that. If you're looking for weight reduction, do some sit-ups.
taking out one of your torque mounts would definatly help put a quick end to the other 2. and if your planning on taking out the front 2 have fun with changing the rear one cause thats a bitch with the motor still in the car.
keep the ac bracket/mount in there, trust me you will see a lot of engine movement without the torque mounts and stock motor mounts. I eliminated my wheel hop when i replaced my torque mounts with Avid mounts. Keep them!
