Default speedo inop

got the b18b1 in my 94 dx coupe... is there supposed to be 3 pins on the vss? i had a bad plug, the middle wire was completely corroded. i found this out after my speedo started jumping or not working, so i unplugged it and found that the middle wire was junk. someone else already tried splicing a new wire, and this is the corroded one that i found. funny thing though, cuz that already hack spliced wire actually has no pin on the sensor... does corrosion take on the pin too? i look into the sensor plug end and see no pin..., just wondering if it should have 3 pins, just like the plug has 3 wires. thanks

and the three wires match the three pins in the sensor? it doesnt even look like there ever was a pin, unless corrosion demolished the pin...
