Removing Crank Pulley
Okay any tips on how to get this thing off. I tried a clamp and a breaker bar, and the clamp gave out. Someone said impact gun, which I dont have
. Someone also said stick a screwdriver in the flywheel??Also a cloth wrapped around the fly wheel to stop it from spinning?
I have the motor on a cherry picker, right now and its swinging freely any tips.

id say if its that tight the only way to go is a big impact gun, long story short...i had to buy a new tranny after trying to hold the motor with it. then the bolt came out stripped? im not sure what happend but i also had to replace the motor, (was going to anyway, but not for a couple weeks) just do it the right way and buy the tool that holds the pully or use a big impact gun.
Put the engine in a pick-up and take it to a shop that has a big-*** impact wrench - a truck shop would have it. Have them break it free. There's simply no reason to kill yourself over this, as it'll cost nearly nothing to have them come out and, boom, done in 5 seconds.

If you already have the motor out of the car, this is definitely the best way.

Okay not sound repeat full but here it is.
I was talking about the crank pulley wheel. It was jammed on there. Anywho, after some intense jiggling I got it off. Removed the outer housing for the timing belt, and balance shaft belt, and I got some pics, but Im not at my computer to load up. Its really greasy on the bottom portion of the housing. I cleaned the outer casing off, and am undecieded as to wether or not clean the inside.
Unfortantly Im not at home and left my Helms there(great job) so I wont be performing the timing belt transfer tonight.
Can the inside where the timing belt is be cleaned out with degreaser or does it need grease, in there. Probally needs grease on all the wheels and what not, just not the housing wall.
Oh yeah and the gasket to the housing of the timing belt was greased on there too, its still usable IMO but does that need grease to get it on there or can I use gasket builder stuff on there instead?
