Default will a 97-01 shift cable/linkage work in a 92-96 lude

i searched it but it said something about a box that maybe different but wasnt to clear.

they will only work if you use the shifter base plate in which the 5th gen shifter plate is inferior to the 4th gen plate due to the 4th gen base plate being composed of metal and the 5th gen being plastic.

They are the same lengths, but attach differently to the shifter plate.

yea thats exactly what i was told i think. its going into an 97 integra with a h22 swap. does that matter. i forgot to include that.
