Default wtf!!! oil everywhere!!!!

Just today I noticed that my vtec wasnt kicking in in 1st and 2nd gear, for some awkward reason it kicks in third and fourth. When I opened my hood to check the oil level I saw oil everywhere!! where can the oil be coming from !? I was thinking probably the gasket but im not too sure. Any help??

another thing you should do is clean it off with break cleaner and see if its leak from the cam plug as well. if it is replace that too.

Thats exactly where mine was leaking at and my problem was the cam seal. The dealer calls it a cam end plug though. Its a cheap and easy fix so try that before you go deeper into anything else.

no ur not going to need the block guard. I would just get the two vtec solenoid gaskets first and replace those, and if that doesnt fix it totally then get the cam end plug. but just to let you know replacing the cam end plug requires u to take off the valve cover, so you would have to replaced the valve cover gasket as well. Just replace the two vtec solenoid gaskets first and go from there.
