Bad oil leak..!!!
Okay well this sort of came outta no where, my undercarriage was beautiful like 2 months ago so sometime between now an then I sprung a leak somewhere... "i go through about a quart of oil a week FYI"... I took some pics of where I think its coming from but maybe someone else has had this issue an know what it is.. I'm thinking maybe a bad oil pan gasket??? It looks like its coming from where the oil pan touches near the tranny....

looks like the oil pan gasket need to be changed as well as the axle seal. Do like the other guy said and clean it all up first, and periodically check it to see where it coming out from

it looks like a bad oil pan gasket or a seal leak. The seal leak im talking about is where the axle meets with the tranny. heres a link its the oil seal #6. I recently swapped in a new tranny for my y8 and oil leaked exactly the same way ours did around the axle. Did some troubleshooting and it was the oil seal.

Re: (bmoua)
i thought my leak was oil pan gasket, but after going through the trouble of replacing that, it wasnt it.
if you are gonna do anything, go ahead and do the rear main, its most likely the issue.
then you can do oil pan gasket, new axle seals, and rear main

Re: (92ehatch)
lol 92ehatch same exact thing happened to me, i was 16 when i bought my car all riced out as a derice project, still working on it btw lol, but my valvecover gasket, oil pan AND rear main was leaking, until finally it belw its rings and headgasket lol good times
ps shouldnt cost ya more than 100 bucks, last i checked 5 bucks for a valvecover gasket, 15 for a rear main, and 30 for a pan
the rear main is rasy oull the trans pull the cover off mesure clearences chec got damge, if none hammer in seal cover/holder with 2x4 and put errythang back, might as well do the clustch if you need one also or upgrade flywheel and clutch to stage 1,2 or 3 lol
you have to remove them anyways

Re: (spork motorsports)
you dont have to take off the whole oil pan to do it, but i would go ahead and do that and replace that gasket as well.
you only have to undo about half of the oilpan to get the rear main replaced.
