I've been trying to figure out if you can do any other swap on 01-05 civics besides k series b/c i honestly don't think i could afford a k swap.

honestly... i'd just go turbo.

I'm k-swapped and now when I want to sell the car, its only selling for 11K which is retarded.. that's how much bone stock civics are going for. So i'll never see the $8K again that i spent on the swap.

So my advice, boost your stock motor... it will be fun to play around with turbo and when you want to sell it, you can sell the turbo setup, get some $$ back and then sell your civic at the price you should get for it. My personal experience...

try to keep your posts in one post. use the edit button. also, if you haven't read around, b-series are not compatible with the 7th gen civics without spending an exorbitant amount of money
