Fuel issue
ok i have D16z6 and for a couple months now i have been using 93 octane y i dont know i guess it wouldve been better but is there any difference in performance, i know its not gonna be a big difference i know its only a D16Z6 but was it a good choice or bad choice out of my part other than price wise for fuel?will it affect my motor?

thanks anyone else?
That was really hard to read.....
But any ways, octane isn't really about the performance level of gas. It determines how volital(flamable) the gas is. If it is too volital on a high compression engine, the gas will pre-ignite Before the cylinder gets to TDC. Causing somewhat of a bang refered to as pinging. A knock sensor is desinged to combat this, they can only compensate much. Unless your engine is modified, You should just use what Honda recommends.
If that doesn't answer your question, Its your fault for typing like that.
