Default My new Project EG

Well friend of mine got this car and decided not to do anything with it. .

Plans are to strip it

Black interior
LS VTEC
Cage
and a few other things just make it supper clean.

try b20 vtec unless you already have the ls. madd tq and powa. plus with the right tranny.......ughhhh

I already have a turbo EL thats my car. Just wanted some NA power . But im gonna look and see what i can find. B20 be nice but u can not realy rev the **** of out that . Ill see what i can find tho for cheap.

Well so far i got a mint rear hatch. Black interior. Im looking at the jdm places for some JDM rust free doors you can get them for like 200-300cdn for a set.

Ya def ditch that interior and go black. LSV is the way to go especially in that hatch cuz it'll make it spank. I'd already be wokring on it instead of talkin bout it

so you cant rev the b-series because its stroke is that long? i want to say i have seen b20's rev to 10,000 that are builtish.

you don't need to rev it. It makes a nice powerband with great torque at lower revs, that's what it was designed for.

All depends on what you are going to do with it. I've seen some dyno charts of tuned B20's without the VTEC conversion doing ~160 hp and 140 tq. that's great for a NA engine. That's what I will be doing next year for the track car I'm working on.

my brothers car shifts at 8 on this b20vtec, puts him in the 12s easily in his crx..made 191hp/157trq..thats alot for a stock motor..dynoed by chad from bsr..and for 2 years the motor is still running strong.

Well here is the motor setup im going with

B18B block CP,eagle rods 10:1 comp
B18C1 head with rev valves
JRSC Gsr
4 into 1 header.
B16 tranny

Supension and some minor body/bondo

LMFAO that just made my day! I remember when I bought my stock car with that tiny tube on it...it was so tiny, poor motor was suffacating!
