I have a 91 crx I am planning on doing a mini me swap. Which should bring my compression to 10.1:1. I was going to get a apexi controller for the vtec and fuel management. Because I also wanted to turbo the engine installing a block guard while I had the head off. what should i get for horsepower and is this even possible? Has anyone tried it? I have a d15b2 block and the older (I think d16z7) head. Any other suggestions?

 

If you're going turbo don't waste your time on the mini-me, blockguards are stupid anyway when your rods are going to go long before your sleeves. How do you have a b2 block and not a b2 head? If you're DPFI you should swap to MPFI before you boost so you have some decent ecu control and what not.

 

Right now it is a stock d15b2 engine but I have the vtec head. I was planning to turbo it after putting it together if it was to slow. I whant to build this car for scca.
