could be a valve tap - take it to a mechanic, or if someone you know has done it, and get a valve adjustment - from time to time they have to be tightened down back to spec

shouldn't be much, it really depends on how much the mechanic charges for labor and how long the job should take - i know there has to be a few guys on here that know how long it takes

With a few basic tools you can adjust the valves yourself.

Would you want to learn how?

here's a DIY to adjust the valves https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1305086

It's not too hard if you can follow instructions. I did it awhile ago when the only other thing I knew how to do was change my oil. Just Remember to let your car sit overnight bc it has to be cold.

Would this possibly have anything to do with my motor?

Sorry i dont want to jack this thread

But when i start my car and its still cold, i get a ticking noise until it fully warms up.
It eventually goes away but makes me wonder what it really is.

if you revving the **** outta your engine then a vlave adjustment is neccessary. if its just a stock motor then you should do one if you never had one done
