Default ls crank/gsr block

ok, i'm doing the ls crank/ls rods into a gsr block.

since the oil feeds through the stock ls rods are the squirters still needed? or can i plug them?

i'm running gsr block
bored over to 81.25
oversized ITR pistons
oem ls rods
oem balanced ls crank

Lots of opinions here

I didn't use the oil squirters, just used the GE plug kit. So far so good, got over 3k miles on the build.

I am current building a similar set up.
Golden eagle sleeves
Peuter ls rods
Aries gsr pistons
84mm bore
Micro polish Ls crank
b18c1
So far every thing fits. Gonna check out see how the squirts were handle by the shop tomorrow.

if using forged internals i know the squirter aren't required at all
my GE kit should be coming in on monday, i think i'll be fine since the ls rods have oil holes on the big ends this car is only going to be seeing like an 8500 redline.

and also, why do people call this an oem stroker?
the calculations yield it to still be a 1.8 litre.
i know it's a larger stroke but i mean displacment wise it yields the same

i built two of those motors, ls internal in a gsr block. First one with a 81.25 mm bore itr piston. did it bout 4 yrs ago. This nonsense motor," stupid, makes no difference" they said. Ha. Oh yeah... Just honda parts from bottom to top. B16 head mill to the bone with some 00 itr cams " Your crazy". they said again. Type R manifold overbore tb. with a b16 trans.. just honda parts.. Started it up, it was nice, broke it in at 150 miles, and slammed on the gas at any guy that wanted some.. Ha..Ha.. Ha.. stupid motor, nonsense... Ha... how fast? all those that wanted some got to smell my race gas exhaust fumes... from behind... hahahaha... fun. Spun the tires when i punched it. The way i see it, if your car, setup, whatever doesn't smoke the tires up by just slamming on the gas pedal like on a normal rolling start. You aint got nothing yet. This setup aint the fastest, makes the most power or whatever. But i tested with any car i know that makes more power than mine just to see what it could do. Shocking, seen alot of facial expression when going a roll at 30 mph on second. When vtec kick i see them looking at me and say W.........T.......F................. Cars example EvO's , M3's, Porcshe Boxters, Carerras. But when i tested it with my buddy with a turbo built gsr hatch... I was like W.......T.......F........ . 2nd to 3rd flew by me like SuperMan... Fun.. good times. ... Oil squiters.. I dont really remember the thread size, it was a fine tread size.. I dont want to guess. I remember it was fine trhread.. Take the bolt to a nut or screw shop they ll have it. plug it up. The ls rods have little holes on them that replaces the oil squiter on the block. Shoots it out of the hole hitting somewhere exactly i dont remember under the piston or rods making it splatter to your rings to expand the seal and cooling. I called this my confused Gzrrr... i built it.

but i saw in the other thread that one or two people pistons stuck out of the block due to the gsr block being shorter thenn the ls. is this because they used aftermarket bearings?

GSR block is taller than an LS, but if the block is decked and you use thicker bearings, you may run into that, but that can happen w/ any build. That was me by the way whose pistons came out the block, my block was decked alot and i ran thicker than oem bearings.
