Default Intake Install - Extra Hose

Yes, I did search. I found this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=232059 . I just want to make sure we're all talking about the same hose.

Anyway. I bought an ebay intake (I know), and now I have an extra hose for which there is no hole on the intake arm for. Remove the entire hose assembly completely? Plugging? What do I do?

Useless TBS, I know. Flame on. But at least give me an answer first.

You can do whatever you want with that, it supplies the cold start idle air valve, leaving the valve open would be fine, or you can plug it into a filtered air source of your choice...

I used a small fitting (used for fuel line on an RC car) on mine, poked a hole, screwed right in. Never had a problem.

Just removed the whole hose and my intake came with a little cylinder filter to jam over the valve. That little filter isn't really neccisarry but I used it since they sent one.

I capped it off and got an idol serge as a result. Its easier to just let it suck in unfiltered air.
