Default Motor Mount Problems

I have a 91 CRX HF. I'm almost done with swapping the old engine out. It had a D15b6 in it, which I'm sure you already knew that. I'm upgrading it to a D15b VTEC. The problem I'm having is that only one of the motor mounts will not fit. So I asked a guy that knows quite a bit about hondas like rebuilding and swapping about it. He told me to get a motor mount for a 92 civic SI and it would work all I needed to do was shave it down a little bit. Well that didn't work. The motor mount that I need is for for the driver side front. Can someone tell me which honda I can pull it from if I get it from a junk yard or what kind of honda, like year and model, so I can order it from advance. Thanks.

you need to swap the mount that bolts to the end of the block on the driver's side with the one from your D15B6 or any 88-91 D15 or D16

I believe its the driver side "timing belt" motor mount.

Since you are using an a japanese engine that is out of an eg, you have to swap out the actual mount on the engine itself with one from an ef. Once you do that, a motor mount from any ef will work. So the mounting point that is bolted to the block, needs to be removed and switched with one from an ef.
