Default cold air intake broken

my cold air intake broke dont know how im guessing when i hit this huge bump and it was this plastic material.but i was wondering if ebay intakes any good or just stick to a brand name like aem?

An eBay intake should be fine, though may not be as durable (my friends started to corrode not long after he bought it). Just make sure to use a quality filter.

alright cool i was thinking of using my old filter it still looks good but ill use the new one then use the old 1.my old cold air was a plastic type of tubing i thought it was strong i guess not

the thing about ebay cai is that it isnt carb legal. if you want to stay legal get AEM. but if you dont care then Ebay would work the same performance wise with a good filter.

Cut the intake arm in half. Keep the CARB sticker'd first half and just get an extension for the bottom half. Stay CARB legal and restore your intake for minimal cash. That's what I would do...

Pay a little bit more and get an aem, get it off ebay or some place besides AEM itself, might as well spend a little bit more and not have to worry about a reff ticket. The last 3 of those i have seen all the cop wrote was illegal intake.

Do that and then you don't have to worry about it.
