Cold Air Intake Decision...
I'm about to order a cold air intake for my 2000 Civic LX (D16Y7) and was wondering which you'd all recommend.
My options are...
1. AEM Cold Air Intake
2. injen Cold Air Intake
From experience, what do you think of these two intakes? I'll be ordering tonight or tomorrow and greatly appreciate all responses.
Thanks!
Rob

...are you refering to the new style V2 aem intakes or the orginals

if you're reallly set on a name brand intake, why not check the ht classifieds? there's always tons of aems for sale for cheap, you just gotta look
just a suggestion

Well, I've got an eBay sort of intake on there right now, and I was really looking for any differences between the AEM and injen CAIs. I'm not talking about the V2 as I'm not dropping that much for the enhancements that don't seem to change much.

An AEM will not yeild any significant gains over an ebay intake with k&n filter. MAYBE youd have 1-2 more HP at 7000rpms but even that is a stretch.
