IAB help on swap
hey guys,i have a 99 si with a b18c1 swap in it,also has a obd2-obd1 conversion with a P72 ecu.
i have A17 hooked up to the IAB and the other IAB wire is on a ground and its not openning up.is the iab wire supposed to be on a ground or positive(12v) thanks

If I'm not mistaken, the signal coming from the ECU should be the ground.
Also, I assume you have all of the necessary vacuum components hooked up properly?

the gsr motor is from a 2001 so its a obd2 motor converted into obd1...it has on the iab 1 going to ground 1 going to ecu..is this right or should the wiring be going to a 12v
I don't have the wiring diagram handy, but I honestly recall reading that the ECU's trigger is actually a ground, and that would mean you need a 12V source also.
alright so i have 1 wire going from the iab solnoid to the ecu and 1 grounded...what do i need to do tomake a 12v connection...do i put the ground to a 12v or put a 12v in the 1 to the ecu
this is for a obd1 ecu?
cuz its a obd2 engine with a jumper harness to a 0bd1 ecu..i heard 1 to ecu and 1 to 12v...im just wondering if thatd right....cuz i have 1 to ecu and other to ground right now
