Default SH knowledge needed: '97-'99, '00, '01 Difference?

ok, so i know there are plenty of difference from the SH and the base model 5th gen's but what i really need to know is, how interchangable are the SH blocks? My interchange program is showing that they are all different.... is it just an obd2a computer vs. an obd2b computer? or are there actual differences in the block (between the years, NOT between base and SH!)...

:Bump: FYI: checked search archived and current for 'sh differences' and for 'sh prelude' body and topic, and still no information useful, so the real question is...instead of not posting at all you decided to be a smart *** about it, but did YOU search?

Anyone with help...ty in advance

50mm mains to 55mm mains between 97 and 98-01. As far as the block fitting into different years there is not problem.
