I just bought a 92 hatch for my winter dd and it seems to be in great running order. Just needs to have some clutch fluid put in since pedal feel is pretty soft, oil change, tranny flush blah blah blah.

The one problem i am having is the idle is sitting at 400rpm when it should be idling at 900rpm if i am correct. My summer dd is a 4th gen prelude and its pretty different. Is there an idle air control valve on the civics as well that i can adjust to get that idle up to 900rpm?

should be a screw to the back side of the throttle body that u can turn with a small flat head and it will adjust your idle..GL

 

hmmm expletive i hope i use the right one. I had the helms for my prelude so i knew what i was doing all the time pretty much. thanks guys.

Hahaha look at that manifold. its so small. found out my engine is the economy style vtec hahaha
