Default 92 eg hatch/b18b1 swap - idle problems

Car is a 92 eg hatch with a 1996 b18b1 in it, since I bought the car it's been doing this and I can't figure it out, at startup idle is too high, rpms sit round 2k constantly fluctuating between 1600 and 2100 as it heats up it ranges between a 300rpm difference, til it fully heats up thermo opens up, and then it drops to close to 100 maybe less, stays there for 2-3 seconds then keeps fluctuating between 400-900 but it will drop to 100 shortly after I stop at any light, car drives perfect, it's just when I'm not on gas, I think I may be a timing issue but the whole bog mode it goes Into makes me think it's a sensor buggin, no cel at all either, I allready did ficv. Ideas ?

Inspect your ignition timing, clean your IACV, adjust your idle

I have a pretty similar prob. Fluctuating RPM when at idle. Dropping when stopping and even sometimes turning off. Especially after pushing it a little. On really hot days the RPM gradually go up and up. Weird. Got worse after it got tuned too.

Any CEL codes?

Click the FITV and IACV links in my signature. Also bleed the cooling system.

so far here it what i have done.
changed the ecu.
cleaned And even fully replaced the iacv
replaced every coolant hose and vaccum hose
did a new head gasket not too long ago
ive messed with the timing a few times without any luck,
i replaced all the distributer parts
ive adjusted the idle
nothings helps
owned the car 2 years done the same thing since day one,
could it possibly be the mass airflow sensor ?
the only thing that i havnt done is swapped in the charcoal canister for the integra one i still have the eg one. but i capped off one port and led the other under car to remove of gasses
ideas ?
oh no check engine light ever from this
jugger im gonna try the link you sent me on thursday and see if i get any luck, ill post back if it works, seems promising

so i figured it out.
so i went to go take off the fitv to find my year doesn't have one, then i got bored so i took off the throttle body, to find that the gasket had been cut by previous owner.... RETARD !!!! like seriously who cuts it ?
so new gasket, and voila ! fixed.
thanks for all the help guys
idk whether he took a gasket for another year or tb design and tried to make it fit but still just fail !
