Anyone know what kind of after-market headlights I can use that will be compatible for H.I.D.??? This is for a 90-91 civic si hatchback. I was also told that I can do a 90-93 integra headlight conversion and use the after-market H.I.D. headlights for it. Don't really want to do any cutting or welding, but may have to in order to get a better vision of the road at night. Thanks.....

 

EFs have fluted lenses, bad for HID. You can swap out the lense for a clear non fluted lense (think ebay headlights). you can use the cheaper plug and play HID lights, but a complete retro fit of projectors from an s2000, TL, BMW is recommended to get correct light distribution.

No, not again. Fluted lenses are bad for HID's only, ONLY if you are inserting PROJECTORS inside the headlamp housings. If you are leaving the housing alone and just using HID bulbs you will be fine.
Back in the day HID bulbs were very poorly assembled and the light emiting part of the bulb was not always in the correct place as the stock bulb. That is the reason why HID's have a bad reputation. I have HID's on all 3 cars of my cars and on 2 sets of fog lights, and they work just fine with no glare problems.

 

I have e-Bay H.I.D's on my Crx and they look clean! Ill post pictures to show you.. Sorry about the blurriness. This is the only picture i uploaded and the only one that came out whack!
