Default Headers for the 07 si sedan

Hey everybody, i was just checking if anyone has installed a header on their si sedan. If so, was it a crazy process, and what kind of tips can you all provide for this type of install/mod.

i dont think the header is a diy mod unless you REALLY know what your doing. ive been quoted anywhere from 175 to 300 just for the install from local shops. but im def. doing it after my drop.

There are a few post on 8thcivic.com about this subject... some say its hard others said it was easy as long as you have patients..... its just tough to get too thats about it.

sounds like a good plan. I'm just waiting to see if John's sedan exhaust test vehicle owner is a H-T member. If not then

nah no project, i plan on keeping it mild. so far i have a injen SRI, a LSD catback, and a HONDATA reflash. besides, the only headers i've found so far are race headers. i'll wait for comptech to come out with something (steetlegal). thanks for the info though!

how do you like your LSD? I was thinking about doing that. how does your car feel with the reflash and everything that you have done?

If you've worked on cars before and can follow the DIY on 8thcivic, it's an hour and a half job. Not worth spending $175-300 on.

the exhaust sounds good, not too loud, and the v-band flanges help make installation smooth. the reflash also helps a lot! it will greatly increase your midrange torque. the vtec engagement is @4500rpm, and the high cam only kicks in @ WOT. you also feel a secondary pull after 6000rpm, but only last til about 7000. overall i think its the best bang for your buck!
