Default Aftermarket ITR vs EG struts - performance differences?

Does anyone know if aftermarket ITR struts would be noticeably better(different valving etc etc) than aftermarket sets for an EG? I know that the rear bottom bolts in different and requires an ITR LCA, but I was just wondering if it was worth getting ITR illumina's and LCA's when my HP's get old. If so, it should be a bolt in affair for the front, and the rear if I have the proper LCA's correct? Thanks.

Although the stock ITR shock valving is more aggressive than the stock EG/et al shocks, they really aren't that big a difference and the increase in performance to a good and preferably adjustable performance shock should more than cover and then some the differences in the stock units.

The price and valving inside the KONI Sport for the ITR and EG are the same and more than covers the small OE difference plus it is adjustable. The KONI for the ITR (8041-1164Sport) already has the right bottom bushing for the ITR so you don't have to replace your rear lower control arm at the same price that you would pay for the EG KONI Sport (8041-1152 Sport).
